Our 1st Annual Community Services tournament that we held here at Rim Lanes on Sat 9/10/11 wzas a huge success. We had a great response from community members who were willing to support our first responders. We managed to raised $1200.00 via donations from:
-Mick Hill enterprises, George Hoening - Tidalwave enterprises, Brad Thrasher - Your Legal Secretary, Trisha - Pine Rose Cabins, Lynne Wilson - Lynne B.Wilson & Associates, Inc. - Jan Stowe - lynne B. Wilson & Associates Realtors, Fischle Printing, Rim of the World Association of Resltors, Trina Brenneman Sleepy Hollow Cabins, Snyders Tires, Alpenhorn News, Virginia - Capre Real estate amd Lake Arrowhead patrol.
A big thanks to all of you!
The 1st place team was "The Flaming Dragons", better know as Officer's Whiteside and Frys
along with a couple of the explorers. The Twin Peaks Sheriff's department was the recipient of the grand trophy, and $800 to donate to the charity of their choice, (they did not name their charity). Following closely in 2nd place was "Carp's Crew" Captain Kenny Carpenter, Mike, Bryan and Josh From Crest Forrest Fire Department winning $400, sending it to the Inland Burn Center.
It was a great event and hopefully we can have an even larger one next year!!!!!
